Reading's Health and Well-Being Board meets on Friday 2nd November at 2pm in the Kennet Room of the Reading Civic Centre. See meeting details page to access the agenda and associated papers. The meeting is open to the public. The Health and Well-Being Board is operating in shadow form until 1st April 2013, but is taking over local public health functions including the preparation of Reading's Health and Well-Being Strategy.

Meet SRPV and CCGs Drop-In - Friday 19th October - Reading Town Hall
Members of the public are invited to meet GPs from the Reading area Clinical Commissioning Groups and patient representation groups.

GPs from the South Reading NHS Clinical Commissioning Group and the North and West Reading NHS Clinical Commissioning Group will be present to explain changes to the NHS coming in next April. Representatives of the LINk are also involved. Representatives of patient engagement groups will be there too.

South Reading Patient Voice members will also be on hand to hear your views, experiences and stories. You will find out how you can get involved in influencing your care in your local NHS.

Main business: Presentation of the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) for South Reading by Nnoaham Kelechi and Sarah Shildrick and discussion. The JSNA is a comprehensive medical and social survey of public health which can be used to direct the Health and Well-Being Strategy.
