The long-awaited consultation on same day healthcare has been started by Berkshire West CCG. This includes the question of whether the suspended Walk-In service at the Broad Street mall GP practice should be restarted. It was suspended because the CCG failed to reach agreement with the provider Assura - a partnership between local practices and Virgin Healthcare. Please complete the survey here . Berkshire West CCG has engaged charity Together to operate a mental health crisis cafe, the Berkshire West "Breathing Space" in Reading. The service is open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, 5pm to 11pm at Ajilon House, 28 Friar Street, Reading RG1 1DT (next to Treatz).
